How It Worked

Results

Participants who inhaled the scent of 90% dark chocolate completed an average of 18 more repetitions than those in the control group (plain water). Those exposed to 60% milk chocolate completed 9 additional reps as well. Interestingly, while dark chocolate helped reduce feelings of hunger, participants found the scent of milk chocolate more pleasurable.
