Google is set to enhance the smartwatch experience with the launch of Wear OS 7, which is now being rolled out for Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4. A standout feature of this update is Live Updates, designed to keep users informed about real-time events directly from their wrist. This means that notifications such as sports scores or the status of meal deliveries will now seamlessly sync between the watch and a connected Android phone.
In addition to the new feature, users can expect a slight improvement in battery performance. Google claims that Wear OS 7 can deliver up to 10% more battery life compared to its predecessor, Wear OS 6. While Wear OS 7 comes with these exciting upgrades, Google has also teased upcoming Gemini Intelligence features, such as Create My Widget, which will be introduced later this year, further enhancing the functionality of the platform.
