About the Company
Aviasales is a travel service that organizes business trips and the world's first meta-search engine for airline tickets for companies. We compare airline ticket prices from various providers and offer B2C pricing for businesses. In addition to airline tickets, we also sell hotels, train tickets, bus tickets, transfers, insurance, and additional services.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Python.
- Make modifications to existing components.
- Proactively suggest improvements in architecture and code to preempt potential issues.
- Participate in system development planning and prioritization of technical tasks.
- Design architecture for new backend services for Aviasales for business (corporate travel: flights, trains, hotels, buses, business trips, policies, reporting).
Requirements
- Proficient in Python.
- Expertise in DDD and best architectural practices.
- Experience with modern Python stacks: Django / FastAPI / SQLAlchemy.
- Experience with design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and building optimal data schemas.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with queue systems and asynchronous tasks (Kafka).
- Experience in system design with a clear separation of responsibility layers.
- Experience in feature ownership: ability to communicate with both business stakeholders and technical specialists, and share interesting cases.
- Skills in automated testing (pytest).
