On June 18, the Ministry of Commerce of China, in collaboration with seven other government agencies, released a strategic document titled "Accelerating the Development of 'AI + Consumption'". This plan outlines 17 specific actions organized into five key areas. The primary objective is to make artificial intelligence accessible to all — from home users to small and large retail outlets.

Chinese authorities aim to address both demand and supply in this field to eliminate existing structural issues. For instance, there are times when a product is available in the market but lacks corresponding demand, or conversely, there is high consumer interest but insufficient supply. These measures are intended to help balance the market and ensure a broader integration of AI into the everyday lives of citizens.
