In Russia, new initiatives are on the horizon aimed at supporting artificial intelligence. As part of the upcoming legislation, the government plans to establish special energy zones for large data processing centers (DPCs) that will benefit from reduced electricity tariffs.

According to Article 21 of the bill, these territories will have unified electricity rates, designed to simplify business operations and attract investments in the AI sector. Additionally, it is expected that the construction of the necessary electrical networks will be funded by the state budget. This will be a significant step toward creating a more favorable infrastructure for the development of artificial intelligence technologies in the country.
